Experior Photonics is a
Verizon-certified Independent Test Laboratory (ITL)
under Verizon's Fiber Optic Component (FOC) Program. As
a certified laboratory, Experior Photonics can conduct
testing of fiber optic components in accordance with
Telcordia GR-Series Standards at its state-of-the-art
optical test laboratory in Newbury Park, California.
Experior Photonics can also offer FOC
witness testing services at a manufacturer's facility.
As part of the program, both Experior Photonics and
Verizon will assess a manufacturer's laboratory facility
to ensure it has the test equipment, trained staff,
laboratory procedures and ISO/IEC-17025-based quality
system needed to perform testing of fiber optic
components. Upon obtaining authorization to participate,
Experior Photonics’ engineering staff will witness the
tests at the manufacturer's laboratory and include the
data in a Verizon-specific report format. The witness
testing program helps customers reduce product-to-market
cycles and more cost-effectively meet Verizon's
requirements
